Air Brush ( Aerógrafo )
Painting technique which gives transparency effects to opaque paints, ideal for hyper-realism effects. Charles Buick invented the air brush in 1889 but these effects were already present in rupestreian's paintings. The air brush became popular through Albert Vargas´ ilustrations for Playboy Magazine in the 50's and 60's (his pinups). Today the air brush technique is used in the most diverse artistic fields, including architecture and arts & crafts.
